Facebook App Makes Confessing to Your Crushes a Lot Less
Stressful
A facebook app was recently launched to make one of the most
stressful situations - confessing your crush - much more predictable. Crush
Check allows users to add their crushes with complete anonymity, and notifies
its users when there's a match.
The features allow you to add your crushes in secret, invite
your crushes to do the same, and the app notifies you when there's a match.
It's quick, simple, and makes starting a relationship a whole lot easier.
Crush Check, developed on Valentine's day of 2010, was
recently launched in an effort to alleviate the uncertainty faced by those
hoping to confess their feelings.
What kind of people would want to use Crush Check? The
developer, Mr. Zhang, stated:
"Today's youth usually have crushes one after another.
But while they may have a lot of crushes, they don't always act on them for
various reasons, most notably the pain of rejection. This app allows them to
periodically update their crushes, and when there's a match, BAM!, a sweet
message gets posted on their walls (if they choose that option in privacy
settings, otherwise it just shows up in the app), and then they can figure out
what to do with that mutual attraction."
He also noted that this app and its wall post could be sweet
for couples and friends to play around with.
As for privacy issues, he tells us not to worry. The
information is highly sensitive and therefore is treated with utmost security.
No one but the script gets access to the database after the app was launched,
and the app itself was designed for security and stability.
The idea for such an app started years ago, back when the
developer was still in junior high and wishing for something like this. To him,
it's a dream come true for the youngsters.
Crush Check was released on Feb. 27, 2010, and is a part of
Zhang Network. Look it up in Facebook's application directory! Check it out and
you won't regret it.
